The Way People Live Together and Share of the World's Resources

In my opinion, our country Malaysia is just like a 'Batik'. I describe Malaysia as Batik because Malaysians are from different races. Such as Malays, Indian, Chinese and many more. Batik will not look nice n beautiful if there are some colour or pattern missing. It also describe Malaysia. Our country will not be the way it is without all the races living on the land in the country. Our country is a peaceful and harmonious place to live. As we can see, even the foreigner loves to stay here. But why? Have we ever wonder why all these people like our country so much?

Malaysia is a very unique country. Malaysia's citizens are friendly and well-mannered. It is quite easy for everyone from different races to mingle around. Unlike in the US before this where they cannot get along with each other especially between the white and black. We can see the gap where sometime black is being descriminate in their own country. I have seen many black people at Malaysia. Some of them even have bought a house here. So, what does this tell you?

I am so greatful to be Malaysian. People in Malaysia work together as a team in whatever we do especially when it comes to development or achieving something. The nearest example is here at the UNITEN. Students here are from different races and background. However, they still can work together and learn together to get good marks in exam. They become friends even they have different religion. Another example is our ministers. The ministers in Malaysia are not only Malays but there are also chinese and Indian. The government always alert with the citizen's needs. They will try to help those who need help epecially those in destitute and the poor one.

In general, Malaysian people can be divide into two according to their environment which are countryside and the city. The lifestyle for each of them are different. I have to say, if you want to know the real Malaysia, it is better to go to the counryside as you can find the real, pure Malaysian here. People at the countryside are much more friendly and co-operative. They care for each other a lot. They know and understand each other very well. Sometime they exchange food and held what we called kenduri in order to build stronger bond among them. The rich help the poor.

Unlike people in the city, most of them doesn't even know who is their neighbour. People in the city are very busy with their work. They do not have time to get to know their nighbours. To me, it is not good because neighbour can help you when you need help. We have to build strong relationship with people around us.

Overall, i would like to state that unity is very important to keep our country in peace. I am proud to be Malaysian.
